Being Used by God

Parent Resources

White Circle

Mission

Teach our preschool children that God:
  • loves them
  • has a mighty future for them
  • has a purpose and plan for them in His Kingdom
Teach our preschool children that they are safe and loved when they walk in the preschool doors.
Partner with our preschool parents in teaching their children how to have a relationship with Jesus.
  • During our service times, we offer a Biblical lesson that focuses on using interactive and creative tools to allow children to retain and remember valuable lessons from Scripture, giving them a firm foundation in their faith.
  • Service times also includes snack, playground (weather permitting) or gym time, and classroom play time.

Answers to some questions you are already thinking...

When do you meet?

Currently, due to COVID-19, we are not meeting for any family ministries.

Typically, our meeting times are as follows:
Preschool - Sunday 9am or 11 am | Wednesday 7:00 pm
Elementary - Sunday 9am or 11 am | Wednesday 7:00 pm
Middle School - Sunday 9am or 11 am | Wednesday 7:00 pm
High School - Sunday 5pm | Wednesday 7:00 pm

How do I check-in my family?

The fastest and best process for check-in for you family is to pre-register. Once registered you can check-in on the app on your phone before arriving and scan the QR code at any check-in station. Sticker(s) will be printed out for your children and their bag for preschool age

Check-in is available 20 minutes before service begins, in a foyer at one of our checkin stations Preschool and Elementary parents must pick up their security ticket , if using the mobile app it stores it for you, and ensure their children are in their proper room before going to their group or entering the sanctuary.  Middle and High School students may check themselves in and out once service has ended. All children are required to wear their name tag on the front of their clothing so their name is visible. Preschool and Elementary parents must have their pick up ticket when collecting your children.  It’s our desire to keep your children safe so we require all parents to present matching ID #’s to team members.

What are your safety protocols?

Nursery

We desire to ensure every child’s safety by utilizing the following policies:

  • No one is allowed in the nursery except nursery workers.
  • A sign-in sheet must be filled out by the parent upon check-in. This allows parents to record any special instructions for the nursery workers.
  • Each child is assigned a pager, which will buzz quietly if the parents are needed during service. The person who picks up the child MUST have this pager in order to take the child from the nursery.
  • Nursery volunteers must be 16 years of age to help in the Nursery.  At least two volunteers over the age of 18 are required in each room.
  • We cannot accommodate babies under the age of 6 weeks old due to safety concerns.
  • All volunteers at least 18 years or older must successfully pass a background check to serve with children.

Illnesses - We ask that you do not bring sick babies to the nursery. Help us keep every child as safe and healthy as possible.

Volunteers – Our nursery volunteers are The Lamb’s Chapel attendees, parents, and family. Since we do not have paid nursery staff, we ask parents of babies to serve in the nursery on a monthly rotation basis - just one service per month!

Snack/Feeding – Infants and Crawlers will only be fed what parents advise to feed their children.  We do have Veggie Straws for those able to eat them, unless otherwise advised by parents. Toddlers have Veggie Straws and Fruit Loops available for snack time unless otherwise advised by the parents.
