Building Christ-followers.
Parent Resources
Hunter's safety instructs participants in firearm safety and handling, in practical understanding of current laws and regulations, in safety afield as well as the ethics and responsibilities that come with hunting. Completing a hunter safety course provides a clear understanding of how to have a fun, successful, and ethical hunt.
All students who participate in our upcoming 2023 Middle School Deer Hunt MUST have completed a hunter's safety course. Our course is free. Parent (s) are encouraged to attend alongside the student.
Join us for our final Lake Day of the 2023 season at Lake Cammack. Like the previous event, this is for the whole family. We begin at 3:30 pm at the Pavilion. Food and drinks provided. Restrooms are on site.
Boats pulling students on tubes! It's fun. It's free.
Please SIGN UP so we know how much food will be needed. Bring a camp chair. Everyone to meet at the site.
Middle School Ministry exists to build Christ-followers.
That’s our mission. Period!
We want to impact the lives of students in ways that are:
So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, being rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing with gratitude. (Colossians 2:6-7)
Middle School Pastor
Brian Biggers’ passion in life is for others to hear the heart of Jesus. Jesus had a simple message: Love God and Love People. Brian communicates this same simplistic approach to share that message. His unique way of communicating the Bible has helped countless people discover their purpose on this earth. He cares about (and relates to) people who have been marginalized and hurt by religion. We think you will like his style. He has also been known to catch a fish or two in his spare time.

Refocus is an online resource created specifically for personal spiritual formation in the lives of Middle Schoolers & their families. It is designed to include practical life skills & relevant application of biblical truth.
Refocus is a resource…it’s a journey…it’s an experience that we are creating for our Middle School families --- Refocus is intentionally designed to assist students and their families in several ways.
Yes, it’s personal spiritual growth. It includes intentional daily sessions designed to facilitate interaction between students and their families. Many of the sessions can be completed in 7 minutes or less. Some sessions include activities that go beyond 7 minutes. Refocus is packed with personal devotional content that includes practical life skills specifically geared for Middle School students.
Recognizing the variety of our unique learning styles, the daily sessions are communicated in ways that connect with “your particular learning style.” It’s an online tool, but it’s designed to be printed out (if you so choose) so you can utilize its content even when you aren’t online.
Our walk with God and our worship of God are two of life’s most priceless treasures and we want to help students in their daily journey alongside our King. Refocus will be launched from our Middle School webpage. Each week, you can expect at least 4 days worth of content for students to interact with....(Day One, Day Two, Day Three and so on). Content will also be archived so individuals can access previous sessions and videos.

For downloadable, printable PDF's in the Refocus Archive, (coming soon).
Some of the content in Refocus will be located on Rightnowmedia.org, which means you will need an account on their website. For instructions on setting up an account via the church, read below.
Right Now Media is an online streaming library with thousands of Bible Study Videos and Biblically-based content for men, women, and families, as well as great shows for the kids. Think of it as "a Netflix for Christian Bible Study." Maybe you are sitting at home wanting to spend some quality time in the Word as a family, but not sure where to start. Rightnow Media is a great resource with an extensive selection of Bible study material, video elements, devotionals, and more.
If your Middle Schooler (or you) has a cell phone with a mobile phone number (not just an iPod only using only an iCloud email address), then follow these instructions:
If your student doesn't have a cell phone, then you can send an email to Mike or Billy, and put "Rightnow Media + your email address in the subject.

The fastest and best process for check-in for you family is to pre-register. Once registered you can check-in on the app on your phone before arriving and scan the QR code at any check-in station. Sticker(s) will be printed out for your children and their bag for preschool age
Check-in is available 20 minutes before service begins, in a foyer at one of our checkin stations Preschool and Elementary parents must pick up their security ticket , if using the mobile app it stores it for you, and ensure their children are in their proper room before going to their group or entering the sanctuary. Middle and High School students may check themselves in and out once service has ended. All children are required to wear their name tag on the front of their clothing so their name is visible. Preschool and Elementary parents must have their pick up ticket when collecting your children. It’s our desire to keep your children safe so we require all parents to present matching ID #’s to team members.
A few notes about SAFETY
When your Middle Schooler comes to any our services, the first thing they’ll do is check in at one of our computer check in stations. They will then receive a name tag, which we ask them to wear during our time together.
Note: Students are asked to use the restrooms BEFORE the service starts.
Once service starts, students are not allowed to leave the building. If you need your student to leave early (before the service is over), we request that you come and pick them up in person. Once the service in the Big House is finished, students are dismissed. They can either meet you at a designated spot, or you can pick them up from our room.
We are always mindful of our student’s health and that of their families. Rooms are cleaned. Hand sanitizer is provided at the entrance to our room, and will be readily available throughout our facilities. We will conduct socially distanced services during these days of high Covid-19 alert, and masks are encouraged, but not required (during the service itself). If your student isn’t feeling well, we respectfully ask that they stay at home - just to be safe! If someone in your household has Covid-19, we ask that your student avoid participating in the services until after the danger of infection is past.
All volunteers and staff are required to complete a background check. As you would expect, safety is ALWAYS high priority throughout our campus. In addition to security personnel, we also have cameras stationed at multiple locations throughout the building.
Thank you so much for your desire to help us in our ministry. If you would fill out an interest form we will contact you soon.
